The fourth day (25/07/2024) of Shiksha Saptah was held from July 22-28, 2024, was celebrated as Cultural Day. This day was dedicated to promoting and celebrating India’s cultural diversity. Cultural Day is more than just a celebration; it is an essential tool for fostering diversity, global awareness, mutual respect, creativity, insight, and community spirit. Schools that embrace and respect cultural differences help students become well-prepared citizens for a multicultural world.
Cultural Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at our institution, hosting a vibrant and inclusive event showcasing our rich cultural heritage. The day commenced with a spectacular display of cultural performances, including dances, songs, local games, PowerPoint presentations, storytelling, painting, costumes, languages, and food.
The kindergarten section enthusiastically participated in the Cultural Day celebrations by engaging in storytelling and singing traditional songs. The young learners showcased their creativity and cultural heritage through these fun-filled activities.
Students from lower primary and higher primary levels learned and performed various dance forms, gaining knowledge of diverse cultural dances. The PowerPoint presentation by teachers in traditional attire and languages enriched students' understanding of diverse cultures.
High school students actively participated in vibrant activities such as traditional painting and games, aimed at promoting cultural awareness, appreciation, and unity among students.
The Cultural Day was a resounding success, highlighting the beauty of our differences and the strength of our unity. Students became extensively aware of their role as global citizens and the importance of cultural exchange.
