Mission statement
Imbued with deep faith in God and inspired by the Spirit of our Founders Venerable Mother Veronica and Apostolic Carmel pioneers in Education, in collaboration with the staff, the institution strives to promote holistic development of all students with specific focus on their spiritual, intellectual, emotional, Social and aesthetic growth while pursuing academic excellence and preservation of environment.
1. FAITH FORMATION
While our education is directed towards the total development of the person we will primarily be instilling Gospel Values in those we educate. (Apostolic Carmel Const. No. 104)
- to appreciate and accept the Father as our Life Giver, Jesus as our Friend and the Spirit as our Sustenance;
- to turn to God in prayer, with a spirit of total dependence;
- to walk/live in a spirit of love, self-sacrifice and service to others, in the footsteps of Mary, our Mother of Carmel;
- to face the challenges of life with a living faith in God;
- to be morally upright, making choices and decisions in the light of the Gospel Values.
2. SOCIAL CONCERN
Through our institutions we shall strive to change the prevailing situations of injustice by fostering a genuine and active social concern among the society of justice, love and peace. (Apostolic Carmel Const. No.109)
- To imbibe a spirit of compassion, mission and social responsibility towards the underprivileged and weaker sections of our society;
- To create a spirit of fellowship constantly communicating the message that God is our Father;
- To develop a spirit of patriotism and responsible leadership for the service of our country.
3. INTELLECTUAL FORMATION
“We shall encourage creativity and research in our apostolate, contributing towards the thinking of education, and experimenting with new methods and projects that would further our common goals.”

- to seek the only Truth, the wisdom of the Creator, through all academic knowledge;
- to develop a thirst for knowledge and to integrate it with life;
- to be creative in outlook and innovative in approach;
- to be critical thinkers in handling issues of society through the media and daily living;
- to work with a sense of responsibility and purse academic goals with self-sacrifice and perseverance.
3. EMOTIONAL STATEMENT
- To develop a positive self-image and external poise and confidence;
- To strive towards excellence with zest and emotional balance;
- To radiate joy, love, peace and contentment through interpersonal relationships;
- To maintain a balance and a positive outlook through the success and failures of life.
4. MISSION STATEMENT

Towards this end:
- The staff works and shares as a collaborative team.
- Valuing all dimensions of each child- spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and aesthetic growth while pursuing academic excellence and preservation of environment each student experiences success, feels cared for and positive about their involvement at Carmel School.
- Teachers are motivated, enthusiastic and experience continued professional growth.
- We provide an environment which is orderly, safe, inviting and stimulating by cultivating values of respect, integrity, compassion and justice to encourage community responsibility, combat prejudice and engage students as participants in a democratic society and global community.
