Feb 25, 2025 : Carmel School, Kotekar (CBSE), celebrated World Social Justice Day, observed annually on February 20th, with great enthusiasm. The programme organized by Class 2B, commenced with a soulful prayer song, which set a reverent tone for the event.

The students then welcomed the gathering with a vibrant welcome dance, showcasing their energy and enthusiasm. Smaya delivered a warm welcome speech, extending a hearty welcome to the chief guest, Advocate Ms. Deepthi, and the esteemed dignitaries present.

The students showcased their talents through a mesmerizing action dance performance to the song "Taare Zameen Par", conveying the message of inclusivity and equality. Hruthvi and Renisha explained the significance of World Social Justice Day, highlighting the importance of promoting equality and justice in society.

The chief guest, Advocate Ms. Deepthi, delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the need for social justice and encouraging the students to become responsible citizens. The students also performed a thought-provoking skit, conveying a strong message about social justice and the importance of standing up against injustice.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, presented by Aradhya and Shazneen. Mohith and Renisha expertly compered the event, ensuring its smooth execution. The celebration was graced by the presence of Sr. Pramila D'Souza, AC, Principal; Sr. Anitha D'Souza, AC, Vice Principal; and Sr. Ashwina, AC, Coordinator.
