The world around us is a kaleidoscope of colours, each adding vibrancy and meaning to our lives. Recognizing the significance of learning colours in early childhood, Carmel School CBSE, Kotekar, celebrated Colours Day with immense enthusiasm and excitement on January 27, 2025.

For this special occasion, each kindergarten class was assigned a specific colour, and the young learners arrived dressed in attire that matched their designated hues. Teachers also embraced the theme by coordinating their outfits with their respective class colors, adding to the joyful atmosphere. Students brought along balloons, toys, and objects that corresponded to their colors, creating a visually delightful setting. The classrooms were transformed with vibrant decorations, with colorful balloons and toys beautifully displayed to reflect the theme.

The highlight of the day was the children’s speeches about their assigned colours. With confidence and charm, the young ones described objects associated with their colours, showcasing their growing communication skills and boosting their self-assurance. These activities not only made learning enjoyable but also provided an interactive way to develop recognition skills and foster creativity.

Adding to the day’s significance, the students and teachers warmly welcomed Sr Anita A. C. the Vice Principal and Sr. Fidele A. C. KG Coordinator, together, they led a heartfelt prayer, expressing gratitude and emphasizing the unity and diversity that colours bring into our lives.

Colours Day was a celebration of learning, creativity, and togetherness, leaving everyone with memories as vibrant as the colours themselves.
