Every year we celebrate Doctor’s day, remembering fondly and gratefully the remarkable services of superheroes. Highlighting the theme of the year “Healing hands, Caring hearts”, Carmel English Medium School, Kotekar held a grand celebration of Doctor’s day – the superheroes in white coats. The event was proudly presented by the students of Class 2A.

The programme began with an invocation by a melodious voice sung by the students praising God for the medical professionals for their contribution to the world. The programme highlighted the theme of care, compassion and preservation of one’s health.

Dr. Lubnah Aysha, a dentist by profession from Ullal, who graced the occasion as the chief guest of the day, spoke on how to maintain good health, avoid eating unhealthy food, following personal hygiene. She addressed the students on healthcare and appreciation for doctors.

Students presented the significance of the day by a stunning programme in the form of tableau and dance depicting various aspects of medical professionals, their services in the felid of medicine, causes of sickness and disease and the measures to prevent one from harmful effects of unhealthy food and bad habits.

Students Thavis Gahana compered the programme as Thavis and Adrian welcomed the guests and Sai Deep, Vikranth, and Rinola presented the importance of the day. Sr. Pramila A.C. the principal, Sr. Anita A.C. the vice principal and Sr. Ashwina the Coordinator was present for the same.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Gahana and Yuvan. The celebration showcased the students' talent and gratitude towards doctors, making it a memorable event.
