The Students of Grade 1 of Carmel English Medium Higher Primary School celebrated World Forestry day on 30th March.

To better familiarize students about the need and importance of forest, class was decorated.

Teacher divided the students into groups, students enthusiastically participated, shared the things and cooperated with fellow classmates, covered the benches and desk with shawls, charts, creepers, lively flowers, plastic flowers etc.  They even brought the plastic wild animals’ toy to bring the realistic feelings.

Teacher delivered a brief speech about the importance of forest. Sweets were distributed to the students.
