The reopening of Carmel English Medium Higher Primary School CBSE, Kotekar, for the year 2024-2025 was held with great enthusiasm and joy. The event marked the beginning of a new academic year and the arrival of the new principal Sr. Pramila A.C., new staff members and students. They were welcomed with the music of the Band.
The event commenced by invoking God’s blessings for a successful year ahead. In a symbolic gesture of growth and nurturing, a sapling was watered, signifying the school’s commitment to environmental sustainability and the growth of its students.
Sr. Anita A.C. the Vice Principal, introduced Sr. Pramila D’Souza A.C. the new principal teachers and students. This was followed by a graceful welcome dance by the students of standard VIII. This added a vibrant touch to the ceremony, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm. Sr. Pramila A.C. then addressed the students, She invited the students to seize every opportunity to grow, encouraged them to strive for excellence. Her speech was inspiring and set a motivating tone for the new academic year.
Thanishka of class 10, proposed vote of thanks and expressed her gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the reopening ceremony.
The entire programme was meticulously planned and compered by Ms.Shrikala who ensured the smooth flow of the event. The programme ended singing the National anthem, instilling a sense of patriotism and unity among the attendees.
